Young Professionals of the American Cancer Society (YPACS) are movers and shakers in your community that serve as an extension of the American Cancer Society to advocate for its mission to impact every cancer and every life. Millennials and Gen Z make up 45% of the U.S. population and the American Cancer Society has identified the unique opportunity to build relationships with these individuals starting at a young age and engage them in a meaningful way throughout their lives. By participating, these future leaders of the American Cancer Society improve the lives of cancer patients and their families through advocacy, discovery, and patient support through mission-based activities and fundraising opportunities to create a lasting impact across the country — 43 locations and counting.
